I'd stick with Maiden, as it's kinda "right"...
however, I'd go "Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner"....

Since I didn't want to cheapen what you do - I didn't say outright that your style on this latest album would be perfect for a Maiden tribute band [img]wink.gif[/img]

Have that talk with your drummer, but in the end you have to trust where you feel you need to be heading. If the Maiden tribute gig sounds fun - and would be some nice $$ in the immediate future - perhaps it is worth exploring. You can always continue to write your own stuff, and can get another group together down the road to record/perform it. [img]cool.gif[/img]
